Women in Pizza
In 2019, our Director of Marketing, Alexandra Mortati, and Casey Derk founded Women in Pizza, a movement that empowers women in the pizza industry to share their stories, display their talents, inspire innovations, and connect with one another and the world. It has been our honor to support it every step of the way. Women’s contributions to the pizza industry have and will continue to be vital to the advancement of the pizza industry. We hope to help give a voice to this under-represented segment of pizzaioli and inspire more women to follow their pizza passion and join the industry.

The New York Pizza Festival
In our effort to support the pizza industry and those in need while building and fostering a community of passionate pizza lovers, we created The New York Pizza Festival (NYPF), a national, star-studded, 2-day event showcasing the talents of the most renowned US pizzaioli, chefs, and culinary personalities, as well as the top pizza makers from Italy. With over 30,000 people attending, this is the largest pizza festival in New York, and it benefits a local NY non-for-profit, Slice Out Hunger. Our goal is to build an interactive community of the best craftsmen, producers, and pizza eaters while giving back to those in need. We aim to provide educational and fun content for all involved.
Pizza Academy Foundation
Orlando Foods started a nonprofit organization 501c3 to promote Italian food and culture through their support of organizations and events that advance this cause.
