VP of Retail

Meet Luca, our VP of Retail, whose career path has been interwoven with Orlando Foods since it began in 1996 when he moved to the US to found Modena Fine Foods, of which Fred and Carlo were two partners.

At Modena Fine Foods, Luca established Acetum SPA’s North American Office and under his guidance, it became the largest importer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in the USA.  Luca’s legacy also extends to his tenure as President and Partner of FINI Modena up until 2015, one of the oldest and leading producers of Premium Balsamic Vinegar, which was acquired by Acetum in 2004. More recently, from 2017 through 2023, he donned various hats like Global Sales Director and VP of Strategic Partnerships at Associated British Food Plc.

On a personal note, Luca’s heart beats for his family. He was married for 25 years to his beloved late wife Giulia and he finds joy in his two daughters, AnnaLaura and Caterina, both of whom are carving their paths in Medical School. In his free time, Luca’s passions paint a vibrant canvas — from the warmth of family bonds to the artistry of cooking, the thrill of soccer matches, the escape found in books, the adventures of travel, the serenity of hiking and trekking, the bliss of beach days, and the nuanced enjoyment of fine wines. In Luca’s world, every moment is seasoned with love, laughter, and the richness of life’s flavors.
