Pizza Expo 2019
In March we went to Las Vegas to attend the world’s largest pizza industry show. Chef John Alers stopped by our booth to make some incredible mini fried pizzas with sugo as well as some zeppoles with cinnamon sugar. Antony Jemma came and stretched some fresh Mozzarella for us. The Women in Pizza took our booth by storm and served up some delicious pizzas. We also announced Caputo’s newest flour, Nuvola Super, which helped our friends Derek Sanchez and Vincenzo Iannucci take home 1st and 3rd in the Romana Division. We can’t wait for next year!
Pizza Festival 2018
The 1st Annual New York Pizza Festival hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District was a national, star-studded, 2-day event showcasing the talents of the most renowned US pizza makers, chefs, and culinary personalities, as well as some of the top pizza makers from Italy. 30,000 pizza lovers from all over the Tri-state came to try a wide range of pizzas including Neapolitan, Sicilian and New York styles. The Mayor of NY declared this weekend to be now known as the official “New York Pizza Festival Days” We’re expecting 2019 to be even bigger and better!
Fancy Food Show 2018
The Summer Fancy Food Show is the largest specialty food industry event in North America, and the premier showcase for industry innovation. Held for 3 days in New York City, it hosts tens of thousands of restaurant industry professionals. Lidia Bastianich stopped by our booth to join us for the introduction of Olitalia Frying Oil to the Orlando Foods family in 2018 and we look forward to premiering our new booth at the 2019 show!
